Danielle Bancroft lives in Northern Virginia, after nearly two decades transitioning across the US and Europe, which shaped her creative journey. In 2009, She began painting with acrylics following a self-guided explorative practice, using mandalas to learn about the meanings behind colors. 

 

Danielle has been writing poetry as a form of journaling for many years and now explores ekphrastic relationships between her writing and painting. Her first book of poems was published in April 2025. The collection invites you to embrace your own creative potential, to find peace within the chaos, and to discover the quiet strength that arises when we make space for art in our lives.
