Danielle Bancroft lives in Northern Virginia, after nearly two decades living across the US and Europe, which shaped her creative journey. In 2009, She began painting with acrylics following a self-guided explorative practice, using mandalas to learn about the meanings behind colors. Today, the flow of color and contrast drives her process as each new piece unfolds. 

 

Danielle began writing poetry eight years ago as a form of journaling and now explores ekphrastic relationships between these two media. Her first book of poems was published in April 2025. The collection invites you to embrace your own creative potential, to find peace within the chaos, and to discover the quiet strength that arises when we make space for art in our lives.
